SHIPPING POLICY

At Modern Gift Co we are committed to getting your gift box to its recipient beautifully and on time. Please read our Shipping Policy carefully before placing your order. If you have any questions please contact us at contact@moderngiftco.com.au.
1. Order Processing All orders are processed and packed within 48-72 business hours of payment confirmation. Please note that processing times do not include weekends or public holidays. During peak periods such as Christmas, Mother's Day, Valentine's Day and Father's Day processing times may be slightly longer. We strongly recommend ordering well in advance during these periods to avoid disappointment. You will receive an order confirmation email once your payment has been processed and a shipping confirmation email with your tracking details once your order has been dispatched.
2. Shipping Methods We ship all orders across Australia via Australia Post using standard and express shipping options. You can select your preferred shipping method at checkout. Delivery timeframes are estimates provided by Australia Post and are not guaranteed. Modern Gift Co is not responsible for delays caused by Australia Post or any circumstances outside our control including but not limited to extreme weather events, natural disasters, public holidays and peak postal periods.
3. Standard Shipping Standard shipping is available to all states and territories across Australia. Estimated delivery timeframes from dispatch are as follows. New South Wales 2-5 business days. Victoria 3-6 business days. Queensland 3-7 business days. South Australia 4-7 business days. Western Australia 5-10 business days. Tasmania 5-8 business days. Northern Territory 7-12 business days. Australian Capital Territory 2-5 business days. Please note these are estimates only and actual delivery times may vary.
4. Express Shipping Express shipping is available at checkout for an additional fee. Express delivery timeframes from dispatch are estimated at 1-3 business days for most metropolitan areas. Express shipping timeframes may vary for regional and remote areas. We recommend selecting express shipping for time sensitive occasions such as birthdays and anniversaries.
5. Same Day Delivery — Sydney Only We offer same day delivery within the Sydney metropolitan area via courier. Same day delivery is subject to availability and an additional courier fee applies. The courier fee is calculated based on the delivery location and will be displayed at checkout. Orders must be placed before 11am Sydney time to qualify for same day delivery. Same day delivery is not available on weekends or public holidays. We cannot guarantee same day delivery during peak periods. If same day delivery is unavailable for your order we will contact you immediately to arrange an alternative shipping option.
6. Delivery to Multiple Addresses If you would like to send gift boxes to multiple addresses please place a separate order for each delivery address. Unfortunately we are unable to ship multiple orders to different addresses in a single transaction. For corporate bulk orders requiring delivery to multiple addresses please contact us at contact@moderngiftco.com.au to discuss your requirements.
7. PO Boxes Unfortunately we are unable to deliver to PO Boxes. Please ensure you provide a valid street address at checkout. Orders placed with a PO Box as the delivery address will be held until a valid street address is provided.
8. Delivery Attempts and Missed Deliveries If a delivery attempt is unsuccessful Australia Post will leave a calling card with instructions for collecting your parcel or arranging redelivery. Modern Gift Co is not responsible for parcels that are uncollected or returned to sender due to failed delivery attempts. If a parcel is returned to us due to an incorrect address provided by the customer or a failed delivery attempt redelivery fees will apply.
9. Tracking Your Order Once your order has been dispatched you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing your Australia Post tracking number. You can track your order directly on the Australia Post website at auspost.com.au. If you have not received your tracking details within 72 business hours of placing your order please contact us at contact@moderngiftco.com.au.
10. Damaged or Lost Parcels We pack every gift box with the utmost care however we understand that on rare occasions parcels may be damaged or lost in transit. If your parcel arrives damaged please refer to our Returns and Refunds Policy for instructions on how to proceed. If your parcel appears to be lost in transit please contact us at contact@moderngiftco.com.au and we will lodge an investigation with Australia Post on your behalf. Please note that investigations can take up to 10 business days to resolve. Modern Gift Co is not liable for parcels that are lost or damaged after delivery has been confirmed.
11. Shipping Costs Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your delivery location and selected shipping method. Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error or a faulty product. Free shipping promotions may be offered from time to time and will be clearly communicated on our website.
12. International Shipping At this time Modern Gift Co ships within Australia only. We do not currently offer international shipping. Please check our website for updates as we may expand our shipping options in the future.
13. Corporate and Bulk Order Shipping For corporate and bulk orders of 20 or more boxes a lead time of at least 14 days plus shipping is required. Shipping costs for bulk orders will be calculated based on the total order size, weight and delivery location. For bulk orders requiring delivery to multiple addresses or with specific delivery requirements please contact us at contact@moderngiftco.com.au to discuss your needs and receive a custom shipping quote.
